The Feral Firefighter

"Patience, Montag. Our civilization is flinging itself to pieces. Stand back from the centrifuge. Remember the firemen are rarely necessary. You firemen provide a circus now and then … but it's a small sideshow indeed, and hardly necessary to keep things in line. So few want to be rebels anymore." -- Ray Bradbury, “Farenheit 451"

About Me

My photo
Guy Montag
Montag has been employed by the government his entire adult life (somewhat ironic for a man with philosophical paleo-conservative/agrarian tendencies). He spent 8 years an an Airborne Ranger with a "LURP" company. Has a couple of degrees in Engineering. He spent a couple of years as a yuppie with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). Since 1991, he's been a firefighter. (Email: guymontag425@gmail.com)
